A San Diego Legend

We were all saddened and heartbroken about the great Junior Seau’s death a couple of days ago. I’m not a chargers fan but my my ached for all the chargers fans and charger nation. Junior Seau was the face of the franchise for many years and played the game with a child like enthusiasm. He played twenty years in the NFL and was a legend. Seau made the 12 straight years and made the 90’s all decade team. Junior was great on the field but was even a better person off the field. He gave back to the San Diego community where he’s originally from and his foundation helps kids to overcome their obstacles in life.

Junior was a Southern California boy through and through, he loved boarding and surfing. He loved people most of all and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in need. Seau refereed to all his teammates as “buddy”, he was always the 1st one at the facility and the last one to leave. My heart goes out to his family, his children and most of all the fans. No one really knows why he took his own life, we can only speculate to why he did it. Junior loved life as much as he loved the game, I personally hope he’s at peace right now resting in heaven.

R.I.P Junior Seau, a life taken to soon.

I dedicate this piece to 1 of my best friends Brandon Pitcher.
