Thomas Robinson just won the Big 12 Player of the Year but he should also win the Naismith Player of the Year Award for College Basketball this season. This guy has time and time again put Kansas on his back and carried them to another Big 12 title for Kansas. Thomas Robinson is a flat out beast and he always plays the game with a chip on his shoulder. He didn’t even start last year as he backed up the two Morris twins but when he got into the game, he always made an impact on both sides of the ball. You want a tough as nails defender he’s got it, you want a monster on the boards then Thomas is your man and if you want a dominant low post player he’s your guy. It’s not hard to root for Robinson especially since his mother and grandmother passed away within a month of each other. He led Kansas to an unbeaten season at home and possibly a # 1 seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament. Robinson averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds this past season. Thomas Robinson plays the game with a passion and tenacity few can match, he plays for the love of the game and he plays like every game is his last.
